Our History
Fortress Realty Partners was founded in 2022 by Doug Eliot and James Palmer, both highly respected commercial real estate professionals with decades of experience in the Washington Metro market. Having previously worked with leading firms like Avison Young and Millennium Realty Advisors, they saw an opportunity to create a firm that combines high-level market expertise with a client-first, mission-driven approach.
Leveraging their backgrounds in the U.S. Air Force, the Intelligence Community and federal government operations, Doug and James built Fortress Realty Partners to specialize in serving tenants and owners with unique security, communications, and leasing needs—including those in the defense, intelligence, and contractor sectors. Today, Fortress Realty Partners continues to thrive as a trusted advisor to businesses and property owners across the region.
